l  Our first team race of 2019...Carlsbad Marathon or Half Marathon on January 20th! This is a great race and a perfect holiday (MLK) weekend to head to sunny California. Still lots of time to get signed up and training for this fun race.  Hope you can join us!

l  Good luck to all our athletes still out racing this year at: Ironman Florida, Run the Rock 50K, Lake Washington Half Marathon, Ironman Arizona, and Seattle Marathon & Half Marathon!

l  The team events for November are:

    -  Mondays & Wednesdays: Masters Swim Workouts at Medgar Evers Pool at 5:30-6:45am (No Veteran’s Day – November 12th)

    -  Thursday, November 1st at 6:00PM: Track workouts at Green Lake Track

    -  Sunday, November 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th at 8:30AM: Computrainer workout at Cycle U 

    -  Sunday, November 25th: Team Race - Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon

October 2018

l Masters Swim Program – We will be restarting our swim workouts at the pool on Monday, October 8th.  Workouts will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:45am at Medgar Evers Pool.  Hope that you can join us on a regular basis or for drop in workouts.    

l Computrainer Workouts at Cycle U – We will again be working with Cycle U to offer you computrainer workouts on Sunday’s throughout the fall/winter.  The plan is to start on Sunday, October 22nd or 29th.  More details on start date and class fees as they come available.

l   Join us this winter for the Seattle Marathon or Half Marathon and the 12K’s of Christmas.  We will have several team training runs this fall to help prepare you for these fun local races. Check team calendar for details

l  Good luck to all our athletes racing this month at: Chicago Marathon, Leavenworth Half Marathon, Ironman Louisville, and a few other local races throughout the month.

l  The team events for October are:

    -  Mondays & Wednesdays: Masters Swim Workouts at Medgar Evers Pool at 5:30-6:45am (Starting Monday, October 8th)

   -  Thursday, October 4th & 18th at 6:00PM: Track workouts at Green Lake Track

September 2018

l  Congratulations to Paul Weinstein, Bert Chavez, & Glen Moore who qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships and will be competing on Saturday or Sunday, September 1st & 2nd in South Africa. Good luck teammates and enjoy the experience!

l  Join us this Labor Day Monday for a Team Swim & Run at Madison Park at 8:00AM.  Hope to see you there!

l  Open water swims will continue through September but with a start time of 6:15am starting next Wednesday, September 5th.   We will start up our swim workouts at the pool on Monday, October 8th.  Workouts will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:45am at Medgar Evers Pool. 

l  Big month of racing for our athletes at: Bonney Lake Sprint & Olympic, Ironman 70.3 World Championships, Waikiki Rough Water Swim, Lake Stevens Sprint & Olympic, Ironman Wisconsin, Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz, and SwimRun San Juan Islands.  Go Team!

l We have 2 Team Races this month: Fat Salmon 3.2 Mile Swim on Saturday, July 14th and Ironman Canada & Ironman 70.3 Canada on Sunday, July 29th.  Look forward to seeing everyone out racing!

l Sports Injury & Performance Clinic with Dr. Kevin Rindal of INHEALTH on Tuesday, June 19th from 6-7pm.  It will be an informative and helpful clinic for everyone.  CLICK HERE for more details.

l  Ironman 70.3 Victoria is this Sunday, June 3rd.  We have 18 athletes racing and it will be great to see all of the Pauole Sport orange out racing hard and representing!  Look forward to our team dinner and cheering & supporting everyone.  We also have another team race later this month, Eastside Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, June 30th.  Hope you can join us!

l Join Coach Cathleen for 2 fun trail runs and BBQ at the Northwest Trail Runs: Ravenna Run the Ravine – Tuesday, June 12th and Sunshine Salutation (Redmond Watershed) – Tuesday, June 26th

l  Summer Open Water Swim Schedule: We will start our open water swims on Friday, June 8th at 6AM from the Day Street Park under the I-90 bridge on Lake Washington Blvd. Swims are held every Friday through September. There will be no support kayaker and all swimmers must be strong and confident in the water. Our Wednesday open water swim workouts from 6-7AM at Madison Beach will start on Wednesday, June 20th.  These open water swims will include a variety of steady, tempo and fast interval sets while improving your sighting and drafting skills.  All levels and abilities of swimmers welcome to this swim!

l Our next big Pauole Sport team race is Ironman 70.3 Victoria on Sunday, June 3rd.  We have many athletes racing and it will be great to have a big team representation.  A team dinner is planned for the night before the race and more details will be sent out to the athletes. 

l Few more spots available for our Open Water Swim Clinic on Saturday, May 19th at 7:30am at Madison Park Beach.  This clinic will help improve your open water swimming skills and become a more confident swimmer.  Clinic is $85 – please contact Kainoa to reserve your spot.    Private open water swim lessons will be available May-September at Beaver Lake and Madison Park.
