Race Report

Eastside has become one of the team’s favorite local races, located at Lake Sammamish state park. This year, there were two distances offered, with the sprint distance of: 880 yard swim, 15 mile bike and a run of just under 3 miles. The Pauole Team had 16 athletes competing this year, and we owned the podium, with 10 of 16 athletes earning top five spots in their respective AG!

Race Highlights:

  • Dustin Ruh took 5th overall and 1st AG in the super sprint race (shortened swim)
  • Ann Judd, Sydnie Heberling, Tom Biehl and Paul Weinstein each placed 1st in their AG
  • Kelly Zhao placed 2nd AG in her first ever triathlon!
  • Casey Alex earned 2nd AG as well.
  • Craig Cross and Beth Williams each earned podium spots with 3rd AG finishes.
  • Monique Radman earned her podium spot with a 5th AG finish.
