March 2019

Excited to announce that our new Pauole Sport Website will be launched soon!   Thank you to Team Leader Paul Weinstein for all of his hard work, commitment, and expertise in building our new website.  It’s been a long time project and we are finalizing everything so it’s just right.

NEW Team Triathlon Kits!  This Saturday at swim practice we will have a fit kit for you to try on sizes and they will be available before or after practice.  Please let me know if you need to make other arrangements.  I will only have the sizing kit till next Monday, March 4th.  We will open up a team online store where you will place your order directly.  I will keep everyone posted on when this opens.

The team workouts for March are:

  • Saturday, March 2nd, 9th, 23rd, & 30th (no practice March 16th): Masters Swim Workout at View Ridge Pool at 7:00-8:30AM
  • Saturday, March 2nd (before or after swim practice): Fit Kit available – check sizing for NEW Team Triathlon Kits
  • Sunday, March 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th, & 31st at 8:30AM: Computrainer workout at Cycle U
  • Thursday, March 7th & 28th at 6:00PM: Track workouts at Green Lake Track
  • Saturday, March 23rd & 30th at 8:45AM: Team Run – Burke Gilman Trail (following team swim at View Ridge Pool)
  • Sunday, March 24th: Team Race – Mercer Island Half Marathon & 10K

February 2019

Pauole Sport Team Races for 2019 (Updated) – check out the count down for each race on our Team Races page

Masters Swim: We have had great turnouts for our Saturday morning team swims at View Ridge Outdoor Pool.  We will have the opportunity to swim there weekly till early May (check team calendar for any changes). If you have not had a chance to join us, hope you can soon!

Track workouts at Green Lake track will start back later this month!  Coach Cathleen will be leading our athletes with fun and challenging workouts. These workouts are open to all levels of runners.

The team workouts for February are:

  • Saturday, February 2nd, 9th, 16th, & 23rd: Masters Swim Workout at View Ridge Pool at 7:00-8:30AM
  • Saturday, February 9th & 23rd at 8:45AM: Team Run – Burke Gilman Trail (following team swim at View Ridge Pool)
  • Sunday, February 17th, & 24th at 8:30AM: Computrainer workout at Cycle U
  • Thursday, February 21st at 6:00PM: Track workouts at Green Lake Track

January 2019

Happy New Year!

Wishing you all a Happy & Healthy New Year full of fun and exciting new adventures, races, and goals!  Please join us at one of our many team races we have planned in 2019.  Looking forward to having as many Pauole Sport teammates together to race and continue to show our strong team presence.

Pauole Sport team races for 2019

Masters Swim: Due to the Medgar Evers Pool closing for maintenance all winter/spring we will be swimming on Saturday’s, starting January 12th, from 7:00-8:30am at the View Ridge Pool near Magnuson Park.  It’s a beautiful private 8 lane outdoor heated pool.  It will be a good long and fun weekly swim workout.  Hope you can join us!  There is also a possibility of swimming on Monday’s & Wednesday’s 5:15-6:30am starting in March in West Seattle.  If you can make these workouts please let me know as we will need enough swimmers to pay for the pool rental.

The team workouts for January are:

  • Sunday, January 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th at 8:30AM: Computrainer workout at Cycle U
  • Saturday, January 12th & 26th: Masters Swim Workout at View Ridge Pool at 7:00-8:30AM (No workout on 19th -MLK Weekend)
  • Sunday, January 20th: Carlsbad Half Marathon: Team Race
  • Saturday, January 26th at 9:00AM: Team Run – Burke Gilman (following team swim at View Ridge Pool)
