Race Report

Victoria is a popular race for the Pauole Sport team. This year, we had 14 athletes complete this Ironman 70.3 distance, as this race is a great tune-up for IM Canada that happens later in July. The weather was beautiful on race day and this year the race moved to the north end of the lake, avoiding the weeds that shortened the swim the prior year.

This year’s highlights:

  • Pauole Sport took 1st Place in the Ironman Triclub competition
  • Maura Carroll qualified for 70.3 World Championships in Tennessee.
  • Robin Sayed finished 2nd AG
  • Michael Levenson and Marc Austin both PR’d
  • Paul Weinstein completed his first IM 70.3
